Shagabond
With such a sophisticated sound, it's hard to believe that Shagabond is just 20 years-old. The Toronto-based producer has already built a steady following in the UK and earned accolades from dance duo Bondax, who featured his track "Coral Soup" on their 2014 compilation album, Bondax and Friends. More recently, he has earned the praise of Kaytranada, as he signed to his label HW&W for his upcoming debut EP. Already performing alongside the likes of Kaytranada, Pomo, Sango, Diplo, Boi 1da, Bondax, Monte Booker, Sean Leon and more, Shagabond continues to move crowds with his original production and eclectic sources of influence. Shagabond will also be joined the likes of Jazz Cartier, Charlotte Day Wilson, and River Tiber, as the newest inductee into the Red Bull Sound Select Toronto roster.
Shagabond's sound can be described through his self-titled genres of Galaxy Hop and Bedroom Disco. Featuring self-designed synths, deep baselines and hypnotic melodies, Shagabond's sound is distinct and innovative.
